How to play
Daisy’s School Island is a cosy farming and building game. You help Teacher Daisy turn an empty island village into a school for 120 children. Nothing is rushed and nothing is for sale: crops and buildings simply take a little real time, so you can play for a few minutes and come back later.
⚡ Energy and gathering
Tap tall grass, bushes, fallen logs, bamboo, rocks or clay mounds once to see what they cost and what they give, then tap again (or press Clear) to collect wood, bamboo, leaves, stone and clay. Each one costs 1 to 6 energy.
Energy comes back by itself: 1 point every minute, even while the game is closed. You start with 50, and you get more as you level up and as the teacher’s house grows. Meals give energy too. Old stumps need an axe and big boulders need a pickaxe. Most things grow back after a while, and treasure chests hide on the beaches and hills.
🌱 Farming the field
Plant, wait, water, harvest. Tap an empty plot and choose a crop; seeds cost a few coins. Crops take 1 to 15 minutes and show seeds, a sprout and then the ripe crop. Once the well is built, water a growing crop to make it grow 25% faster. Tap a ripe crop to harvest it.
Fruit trees, like mango, coconut or persimmon, grow back after every harvest. You start with 4 plots and can buy more, up to 16.
🍳 Cooking and crafting
In the kitchen, turn crops into meals, such as sinangag, khao pad, xôi or onigiri. Eat them from your bag to get energy. In the workshop, make planks from wood, bricks from clay, rope from leaves or straw, roofs, and tools: an axe, a pickaxe and a watering can that waters every crop at once.
Cooking and crafting take a little time, and two orders can wait in line (four after an upgrade). Sell anything you don’t need at the market stall for coins.
🍎 Teaching a class
When the school has its first class, press Teach. Help the children with 3 quick questions: count the fruit, find the missing letter, add or take away numbers up to 20, continue a number pattern or match a word to a picture.
Each right answer earns a knowledge star ⭐ and a few coins. The school needs stars for levels 3 to 5, and the children need a short break between lessons.
Building and upgrading the school
| Level | The school | Children | Opens |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | An outdoor class under a big tree, with a blackboard | 10 | the beach |
| 2 | A bamboo or wooden classroom | 25 | the bamboo forest |
| 3 | Two classrooms, toilets and clean water | 50 | the hills |
| 4 | A library and reading corner | 80 | the waterfall cove |
| 5 | A bigger school with a computer room and solar panels | 120 | the point |
Each level needs materials, coins and some building time. Levels 3 to 5 also need knowledge stars and one more building first: the well, the library and the solar panels. The other buildings help too: the teacher’s house gives more energy, the storehouse holds more materials, the kitchen and workshop make things, the market stall buys your extra goods, the library adds stars, and the playground brings more children.
The quest list always shows what to do next, from clearing the first path to finishing the big school, with coins, energy and XP as rewards. XP raises your level, which unlocks new crops and refills your energy.
Four islands
The rules are the same everywhere. The crops, meals, materials, building names, coins and village friends change with the country. Switch islands at any time in ⚙️ Settings; each island keeps its own progress.
